Protective suit against general industrial contamination and mechanical hazards
The suit is designed to protect workers and engineering/technical personnel against general industrial contamination and mechanical hazards during the performance of production tasks not associated with elevated temperatures or aggressive environments.
Construction
Men’s and women’s protective suits against general industrial contamination and mechanical hazards consist of a jacket and trousers / bib overalls / coveralls.
The jacket features a central front fastening, a turn-down collar, and may be manufactured with or without pockets. Set-in sleeves may be equipped with ventilation openings under the armholes. Reinforcing patches may be provided on the rear part of the sleeves in the elbow area.
Trousers are designed with a sewn-on waistband and belt loops and may be manufactured with pockets according to the model. Reinforcing patches may be provided on the front leg panels.
Bib overalls are adjustable by shoulder straps with carabiner fasteners. A chest pocket may be provided depending on the design. Reinforcing patches may be applied to the front leg panels.
The coveralls have a straight silhouette with a collar and a central fastening. They may be manufactured with or without chest pockets. The waistband may include elastic inserts at the sides. Two front trouser pockets and rear pockets may be provided depending on the model.
The design of the garments may be supplemented with additional elements, provided that they do not impair protective or performance characteristics.
