Firefighter protective suit «Firefighter Euro-1»
The firefighter suit is intended to protect the wearer’s skin from adverse and harmful environmental factors arising during fire-fighting operations and related primary emergency-rescue activities, as well as from various climatic influences.
Construction
The suit consists of a jacket and bib trousers with suspenders, with an attached thermal insulating lining. All seams of the suit are sealed.
The jacket has a front zipper closure covered with a windproof flap fastened with hook-and-loop tape. In the upper part of the left front panel there is a pocket for a radio with a flap fastened with hook-and-loop tape; on the right side there is a loop for a flashlight. The sleeves are equipped with inner knitted flame-resistant cuffs with finished thumb openings, providing additional protection and comfort. The jacket has additional protective patches made of the heat-resistant layer material on the shoulders and in the elbow area.
The bib trousers have braces with an attached back piece. The fastening consists of a zipper, trouser hook and button. Protective pads are located in the knee area. The length of the braces is adjustable to the firefighter’s height by means of an adjustment mechanism on each brace and a half-ring on the free end of the waist tape.
Reflective tapes on a flame-retardant backing allow the firefighter to work in conditions of minimal lighting.
Advantages
By agreement with the customer, deviations are allowed in the positioning of the reflective tape and in the materials used for the protective shoulder and knee pads, provided that the performance characteristics of the suit are not reduced.
To improve visibility and safety, high-quality flame-resistant reflective and fluorescent materials are used (the arrangement of reflective tapes on the suit complies with DSTU EN 469:2017 or may be modified subject to additional agreement with the customer).
High-quality and durable fittings and accessories are also used in the manufacture of the suits.
