Winter arc flash protection suit Nomex Comfort (up to 43.6 cal/cm²)

The suit is intended to provide comprehensive protection for electrical personnel in low-temperature conditions from harmful industrial factors, the most significant of which is thermal energy (heat flux) generated during an arc-flash event, during operational and technical servicing, installation, repair, and adjustment work on various types of electrical equipment and electrical installations.

Construction

The winter arc-flash protective suit Nomex Comfort (type 4) consists of a jacket and trousers. It may also be supplied with an over-jacket/cape.

It is made of two layers of polyaramid fabric.
3rd layer — insulation, a nonwoven material made of 100% synthetic fibers.
4th layer — lining fabric with a special flame-retardant finish.

The materials used for manufacturing the suit have undergone the required laboratory testing, confirmed by the corresponding test reports and certificates.

Protection level: arc rating ATPV up to 43.6 cal/cm².
