Firefighter protective suit “Firefighter Euro-4”
Firefighter protective clothing (Special Protective Suit) (hereinafter — FPC) is intended to protect the firefighter’s body — namely the torso, neck, arms up to the wrists, and legs up to the ankles — from hazardous fire factors and fire-extinguishing agents during fire suppression and fire-rescue operations.
Construction
Firefighter protective clothing (FPC) is made of the following layers of materials:
-
heat-resistant;
-
waterproof;
-
thermal insulation;
-
lining.
The thermal insulation and lining layers are combined.
When the thermal insulation and lining layers are combined, their total surface density is not less than 170 g/m².
To improve operational performance, additional materials are used:
-
wear-resistant material for elbow and knee pads, as well as inserts that prevent the impact of dirt, liquids, etc., on elements of the garment;
-
material for cuffs at the sleeve ends;
-
material that prevents moisture from penetrating the thermal insulation and lining layers;
-
high-visibility (reflective) strips;
-
other accessories (zippers, hook-and-loop fasteners, frames, half-rings, etc.).
Accessories located on the exterior of the FPC do not affect the inner surface of the garment.
Advantages
Firefighter Protective Clothing (Special Protective Suit) — FPC, complies with the technical requirements of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, approved by Order No. NS-487 dated 29.04.2025.
