Flame-resistant winter protective balaclava (arc flash protection)
The flame-resistant winter balaclava is designed to protect workers from elevated temperatures and the thermal effects of an electric arc when performing work in low-temperature conditions.
Construction
The flame-resistant winter balaclava (protective balaclava) is a double-layer construction with additional electric arc protection. It consists of two side panels, a face opening, and a cape. The cape is made of front and rear sections, with hook-and-loop fastener tapes sewn onto the front edges to allow volume adjustment. All components are manufactured with an attached insulating layer.
The electric arc protection level (ATPV) complies with DSTU EN 61482-2:2021 and DSTU EN 61482-1-1:2021.
Advantages
The flame-resistant winter balaclava provides additional protection as part of protective clothing systems against elevated temperatures and thermal risks caused by electric arc exposure.
