Winter arc flash protection suit IbenaArc (99.3 cal/cm²)
The suit is designed for comprehensive protection of electrical personnel in low-temperature conditions from harmful industrial factors, the main one being thermal energy generated during an arc flash during operation, maintenance, installation, repair, and adjustment of electrical equipment and installations.
Construction
The IbenaArc winter arc-flash protective suit (type 8).
The suit consists of a jacket and trousers (bib trousers).
If required, it can be supplied with an over-jacket, a protective coat (cape), a thermal undershirt and long johns.
The suit is made from a package of materials:
– main fabric in 2 layers;
– 3rd layer — thermal insulation fabric;
– 4th layer — lining fabric with a flame-retardant finish;
– 5th layer (undershirt and long johns) — knitted fabric with flame-resistant properties.
Protection level: arc rating ATPV (ARC Rating) — 99.3 cal/cm², HAF — 97.1%.
Advantages
High-quality flame-resistant reflective materials are used to improve worker visibility and safety.
The suits can be produced in the customer’s corporate colors and with custom branding/logos.
Arc-flash protective clothing must be used only together with complete protection for the head, hands and feet; only in this case the protection level is maximized.
